As an accomplished Kaupapa Māori, Mātauranga, Iwi & Hapū Taiao (Environmental) Technician, Tredegar has a rich background working with Iwi, government administrations and indigenous groups. His expertise lies in providing Te Ao Māori & Mātauranga strategic leadership, applying a cultural lens on impact assessments, environmental management and awareness from a kaupapa Māori perspective.
Tredegar’s strong professional credentials include a master’s degree in Geography, with a focus on integrating Mātauranga Māori into mainstream planning frameworks from the University of Waikato. Additionally, Tredegar has a proven track record of public speaking and successfully transferring local NZ kaupapa Māori skills into international and foreign policy areas such as indigenous trade.
